De-chrome and re-chrome
Scored, pitted or worn chrome on a tie bar wears the bushes and lets the platen move. We put it right.
What we do
- Strip the old chrome
- Repair any damage under it
- Re-chrome the bar
- Grind back to the finished size
Often done at the same time as a weld repair, so the bar comes back as good as new.
